Harmonious Society (2014)

As a part of the Asia Triennial Manchester 14 (ATM 14), the exhibition Harmonious Society was organised by Centre For Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) Manchester and co-curated by Mei Huang, aiming to re-examed the ‘conflicts’ as well as the ‘harmony’ of East Asia regions through an international perspective.

The Project invited more than 30 artists from China, Taiwan and Hong kong, most of their works were commissioned and site-specific for this exhibition. It took place in six major venues across the city centre of Manchester, including CFCCA, ArtWork, John Rylands Library, Museum of Science and Industry, National Football Museum and Manchester Cathedral.
